Neer Waterfall is a stunning and popular waterfall near Rishikesh. It’s around 4 km away from the Lakshman Jhula suspension bridge on the Badrinath Highway. Tourists often enjoy walking along the Ganges bank from the Tapovan area to reach this waterfall.

The most fascinating thing about Neer Waterfall is the abundance of beautiful butterflies. To reach Neer Garh Waterfall from Rishikesh, it’s about 5 km away, near Neer Village, close to Ram Jhula.

It’s a great trail for family hiking and waterfalls rappelling in Rishikesh. You can visit all year round, except during the monsoon time. The duration of the trip is around 3-4 hours from Rishikesh. The waterfall is open all day, and the ticket price is INR 30 for Indians and INR 50 for foreign nationals.

Patna Waterfall in Rishikesh is a very popular destination for families. It’s located near Phool Chatti Ashram on the Lakshman Jhula-Neelkanth Road, making it easily accessible and drawing the attention of tourists.

Reach Patna waterfall from Lakshman Jhula, it’s about 5 km away, and you can even take a walk from Laxman Jhula. After visiting the Neelkanth Temple and experiencing Bungee Jumping, you can stop by and trek to this waterfall, which takes around 30 minutes on foot from the main road.

I highly recommend Patna Waterfall in Rishikesh for family hiking and solo travelers. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy the beauty of nature and have a great time!

3- Garud Chatti Waterfall Rishikesh

Garud Chatti Waterfall is a beautiful and peaceful place for nature lovers in Rishikesh. It’s just an hour’s walk from Lakshman Jhula, and the entire path runs alongside the Ganges, offering breathtaking views of mother nature. There is also Garud Chatti Temple nearby, which adds to the attraction of this place along the Neelkanth road.

I highly recommend Garud Chatti in Rishikesh for family hiking and waterfalls rappelling. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy nature’s beauty and have a great time with your loved ones!

4- The Secret Waterfall Rishikesh- Tapovan

The Secret Waterfall is the closest waterfall to Tapovan in Rishikesh. It’s just around 3 km away from Tapovan Saray Rishikesh on the trekking trail to Kunjapuri Temple.

You can reach the waterfall either by walking or by taking the motorable road. The entire walk runs alongside a natural Himalayan water stream, making your journey very refreshing and enjoyable. On the way to the waterfall, you’ll also find the Shiva Temple, adding to the attraction of the trail leading to Kunjapuri.

I highly recommend this trail for family hiking and enjoying waterfalls and nature trails. It’s a perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of the Himalayas and be surrounded by nature’s serenity.

Although it’s a bit far from Rishikesh, about 15 km on the way to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, it’s definitely worth making a stop-off for any traveler or tourist. The best part is, you don’t need to walk to reach the waterfall, as it’s right by the roadside.

I highly recommend Kali Kund waterfall as a perfect stop for travelers visiting Neelkanth Mahadev Temple and a famous picnic spot for families. It’s a great destination for both temple enthusiasts and those seeking a fun and relaxing time with their loved ones.

To reach Maldevta from Dehradun city, it’s just a 20 km road trip followed by a 1 km walk to get to Maldevta waterfall. The waterfall is about 10 meters high, creating a medium-sized water pool.

In Maldevta, there are various activities to enjoy besides visiting the waterfall. You can try paragliding, camping in the village, and savor the delights of Cafe Sparrow. It’s a perfect place for paragliding, camping, hiking, swimming, and trekking in the beautiful village of Maldevta.

How to reach Maldevta Waterfall

Maldevta waterfall is located about 20 km from Dehradun. You can reach there by city bus, Bikram Auto, or your personal vehicle. If you are traveling from Rishikesh, the distance is around 50 km by your own vehicle or private transport. You can take the Rishikesh Dehradun Road, passing through Rani Pokhari, Dehradun Airport, Doiwala, and Miyawala. From Miyawala, take a left turn onto the link road that will lead you to Maldevta waterfall. It’s a picturesque journey to reach this beautiful waterfall!
