1. Mana Valley – A Stairway To Heaven

  • Location of Mana-    It lies in the district of Chamoli at a height of 3200 m. along the banks of the Saraswathi river.  The valley is just only  3 km far from the famous shrine Sri Badrinath Ji.
  • The religious importance of Mana – Mana Valley observes a mythological significance in Hinduism. This is a very place where Maharishi Vyas quoted the great epic ” Mahabharata ” to Lord Ganesha. It is also said that Pandavas (the five characters from the epic Mahabharata) traveled through Mana Hamlet to their trek to heaven. There is a rock boulder bridge,  known as the ‘Bheema Pul.
  • Adventure –  The base site for the famous trek of Swargarohini that starts from the Mana Valley.

  • Location – The valley of flowers lies in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand at an elevation of  3352 to 3658 meters above sea level.
  • World Heritage Site- The valley is listed as National Park in 1982  and now it is listed as a World Heritage Site.
  • Hemkund Sahib is the site of worship and pilgrimage for Shiks people. The temple is devoted to Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708), the tenth Sikh Guru.
