  •  Sai Ghat,  it is just next to Laxman Jhula suspension bridge just few steps up stream,   lesser known among pilgrims but more popular among locals and foreigners. This ghat is dedicated to holy saint Sai Baba who came from south India  and there are installed -idols of Shiva, Maa Ganga, Bhagirath ji and Vishnu Ji along the Sai Ghat.
  • Pilgrims and visitors come here to be a part of the Mahamangal Ganga Aarti that takes place every evening around 6 pm.

5. Shatrughan Ghat Rishikesh:

  • This ghat is very popular as landmark of Rishikesh but the visitors do not its name,  this is very ghat  from where you can take ferry to cross the river to reach Swarg Ashram side to visit Gita Bhavan, Parmarth Niketan and Beatles Ashram.
  • The most famous activity of Ghat is Ganga Aarti that happens around 6 pm each day. I love because this ghat is not vert crowded during Ganga Aarti like Triveni Ghat and Parmarth Niketan Ghat.
  • The advantage of this ghat is its accessibility, very close to Ram Jhula Parking also known as Sivananda Parking near Ram Jhula,  from parking you can reach in 2 minutes by walk to Shatrughan Ghat.
Tip: Carry a picnic basket and enjoy a leisurely riverside meal, surrounded by the sounds of flowing water and chirping birds.

7. Kaudiyala Ghat: A White-Water Adventure

  • This ghat is a bit far from Rishikesh around 1 hour motor drive from Rishikesh center in private or public transports.
  • Popular for adventure activities among domestic travelers.  Kaudiyala Ghat is the place popular for  its thrilling white-water rafting starting point and Mini Gartang Gali trek ( Kotli Bhel Trek ).
