1– Haridwar-Temple Triangle
The goddess Maya Devi completes the trio along with Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple. Maya Devi Temple
The three-headed and four-armed goddess who is said to be an incarnation of divine Shakti. Haridwar city was formerly known as Mayapuri to revere this goddess because the navel & the heart of goddess Sati fell here at the site of the temple. The Maya Devi temple is a Siddhpeetha out of 52 Siddhapeethas in India.
Haridwar has three Siddhapeethas and the other two Siddhapeethas are Chandi Devi Temple and Mansa Devi Temple. The Temple dates back to the 11th Century and has very powerful significance in the religious history of India.

Chandi Devi Temple
The Chandi Devi Temple is devoted to the goddess Chandi Devi, about 5 km from the Har Ki Pauri. She is also the Adhisthatri deity east of Haridwar. The frequent pilgrims & visitors say that without paying a visit to Chandi Devi, the visit to Haridwar is incomplete.

Chandrabadani Temple
Chandrabadani temple lies on the mountaintop like Kunjapuari Temple at an elevation of 2,277m from sea level. The temple location marks the borderline between Devaprayag and Pratapnagar Tehsil. The temple is widely famous all over the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. It is about just 15 km away from the Deprayag Town, Badrinath Highway.
The myth rolls out there that the upper part of the body of goddess Sati fell at this place and her weapons also. Thus, even today a vast amount of Trishul and few statues are lying.

Surkanda Devi Temple
Surkanda Devi is preached near the famous hill station Kanatal in the Garhwal Himalayas. The temple is located at an elevation of about 2756 meters from sea level just 8 km far from the very famous hill station Dhanaulti and Chamba.
Myth- It is said that the head of Goddess Sati fell at this place later known as Sirkhanda or Surknada Devi.

Kunjapuri Temple
Kunjapuri Temple is a part of 51 Shaktipeethas in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. It is just 28 km away from Rishikesh on Gangotri Highway. The temple is preached at a height of 1,665 meters above sea level. This temple is also famous for the Morning Sunrise View among both Indians and foreigners.
