Day-Wise Itinerary for Yoga Retreats Himalayas India;
Day 1 New Delhi to Almora
This Yoga Retreats Himalayas India combines yoga, hiking, and visits to temples and sacred sites that heal the body and provide internal and external strength. Practicing yoga and meditation in the pristine Himalayas enhances these benefits, and traveling in the Himalayas naturally builds resilience.
After gathering at the New Delhi railway station, we will take the 6:20 AM train to Kathgodam. Upon arrival at Kathgodam railway station, we will have a 3-hour road drive to Almora, located at an altitude of 1600 meters and about 90 km away. Almora is a small settlement in the Himalayas. The scenic drive to Almora follows the Shivalik Range of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we will settle down in the guest house.
Day 2 Orientation, Yogic Practices
Begin your day with a Yoga Retreats Himalayas India, including Yogic Cleansing Practices, Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation. In the afternoon, visit the ancient Nanda Devi Temple and Pataal Devi Temple in the Himalayas. This visit helps release negative beliefs and thoughts, fostering awareness of inner feminine divinity, which is a core aspect of yoga practice. Conclude the day with dinner around 7:30 PM, then retire for the night.
Day 3 Crank’s Ridge Immersion
Yogic practitioners believe that the Kasar Devi Mountains reveal ancient Earth rhythms. The mountain’s scenic beauty and cultural encounters will deepen our connection to nature and enhance our community spirit.
A short descent of about a kilometer will take us to the Drikung Kagyu Monastery, known for its distinctive lineage of oral instruction. The Kagyu lineage, which originates from the essence of reality, transcends conventional notions of space and time. Established by Lama Anagarika Govinda and his wife, painter Li Gotami, this monastery holds deep spiritual significance. Lama Anagarika chronicled his journey from Almora to Tibet in his captivating book, “The Way of the White Clouds.”
Day 4 Jageshwar & Bageshwar Temples
Today, we’ll journey to the breathtaking Jageshwar Temples , a group temples dating back to 2500 years. This place lined by Rhododendrons, Pine, Oak, and Maple trees.
Upon arrival, relax and meditate inside the complex of Shiva temples, immerse in the divine place later in the afternoon visit the picturesque town Bageshwar Dham Temple, lies on the bank of the confluence of Saryu and Gomti rivers and later drive for Kausani via Baijnath Dham, another group of Shiva temple. Upon arrival in Kausani resort, dinner and retire of the night.
Day 5 Kausani to Mahavatar Babaji Cave
Day 6 Dwarahat to Bhimtal
We start our day with Asanas and Pranayamas, followed by breakfast. Afterward, we depart for Bhimtal. On the way stop for Neem Karoli Baba, is famous as Kainchi Dham. Spend the time meditate and relax there, have lunch there afterwards drive for Bhimtal. This place is famous for it lakes and natural beauty, upon arrival check in the hotel and later explore by walk this legendary lake, meditate on the shore of the lake enjoy the serene atmosphere and divine aura. In the evening walk back to hotel, have dinner and retire for the night.
Day 7 Bhimtal To New Delhi
Begin your day with Pranayama and Meditation, taking time to breathe, relax, and be present. Afterward, enjoy breakfast and check out of your accommodation. Get ready to drive back to Kathgodam Railway Station for your 15:30 departure to your next destination. Upon arrival at New Delhi Railway Station, meet our representative and driver who will take you to your hotel in New Delhi or New Delhi International Airport.
