One the best joyful experience of Rishikesh, is Bird Watching, here birds nearly everywhere but some areas are better are others. Thus, we’ve complied together some resources that help you to spot approx. 50 species of birds—or special bird—on vacation or business trip to Rishikesh.
Arrive at the Tapovan, meet with your local expert birding guide, follow the Tapovan-Kunjapuri trail along the valley river, hike uphill, after 15 minutes, immerse into the scenic & lush green valley with the hooping sound of the flowing river with plenty of birds around, spot the birds as many you can, such as Paradise Flycatcher, Red Start, Black Headed Jay, Sunbirds, Piculets, Indian Prina, Indian Robins, Verditor Flycatcher and many more.
Later, the birdwatching trail ends up there after Rudra waterfall at the junction point of Sri Kunjapuri & Mahadev cave trails, then, turn back to Tapovan following the same trail while birding, passing through Rudra waterfall along with valley river and your Bird Watching adventure trail ends up in Tapovan, Rishikesh.
