Trek to Triyuginarayan temple is an ancient Hindu temple, located in the Triguninarayan village in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. This temple is built in the ancient Kedarnath style of architecture making it popular amongst the devotees. The intricate details and designing of the temple along with the holy ponds which fill its vicinity make it a divine place to explore.
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu it is popular pilgrimage site because this place was the venue for the marriage of Lord Shiva’s to Parvati which was witnessed by Vishnu. The havan Kund where the eternal flame of their marriage was performed is secured for the tourists to witness. Brahma Shila a stone marking the place of their marriage is also situated. Apart from that many holy ponds like Saraswati Kund, Brahma Kund and Rudra Kund each for different purposes are also present.
TREK TO TRIGUNINARAYAN TEMPLE
There is no absolute trekking path to reach to Triguninarayan. Small trekking routes of 5 km are available from the Ghuttur Kedarnath road. The trek commences from Sonprayag from where easily accessible roads till the temple exist. However, there exists another trekking route form Mussoorie which takes 17 days to complete. This journey is long and tiring but you trek through some of the most enchanting places starting from Mala to Belak to Ghuttu Panwali Kanta and finally to the temple.

The closest destination to reach to Triguninarayan temple is Sonprayag. Once you reach here motorable roads till the temple are present. You can hire private cabs and taxis as per your comfort. The nearest railway station is Rishikesh and the nearest airport is of Dehradun.
