1- Route: Rishikesh to Gangotri (via Narendra Nagar)

The Rishikesh to Gangotri Distance is approximately 270 kilometers. It can take 8-9 hours to complete the journey because of the hilly terrain. It is not difficult to find direct transport from Rishikesh to Gangotri, but it is easy to find public transport from Dehradun to Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi is the main town in Uttarkashi District. From Uttarkashi, you can easily take public transport to Gangotri. The distance between Uttarkashi and Gangotri is approximately 90 kilometers.

Dehradun to Gangotri (via Mussoorie)
