Day 1 :

DAY 1: Departure From Rishikesh

After arriving in Rishikesh, your journey to the Shri Jaintapuri Temple Trek begins with a short 5 km drive to Phool Chatti Ashram via private transport. Once you visit the ashram, your trekking adventure officially kicks off. The stunning trail takes you through a dense forest along the banks of the Ganges River, where the soothing sounds of the gurgling Ganges accompany you throughout.

The majestic views of the Himalayas and the Ganges will keep you captivated for the next 3 to 4 hours, all the way to the mountaintop of Shri Jaintapuri Temple. Before reaching Kota village, enjoy a tea break at a local house on the mountaintop, savoring a cup of tea amidst the endless ranges of Shivalik Mountain Peaks.

This is your first chance to interact with the local villagers, giving you a glimpse into their simple and authentic lifestyle. As you continue your trek down to Kota village, you’ll have some leisure time to explore and connect with the surroundings and its people. In the evening, participate in a Himalayan cooking demo, followed by a delicious dinner, before the day ends with lights off in this peaceful Himalayan setting.

Day 2 :

DAY 2 : Departure From Village

Today, wake up with the rising sun across the deep misty mountains, a spellbound vista of Himalaya with chirping sound of the Himalayan birds and a Surya Namaskar & Mediation, then a simple organic breakfast.

After Breakfast, enjoy the farming activity and daily life of a village with locals.Later, after having a brunch, trek down towards Vashishta Cave. en-route, comes a point on the bank of the river, where you get a chance to take a deep / swimming, then continue trekking through the lush green forest up to the cave.

You have to cross the Ganges river through a classical hanging bridge, the taxi driver will pick you up from the bridge end point and drive you away for the cave visit, where you spend free time for meditation,etc. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Rishikesh.
