White Sand Beach in Rishikesh: Where to experience it?

Vashistha Gufa white Sand Beach in Rishikesh is one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been. The white sand and clear blue waters are a sight to behold, especially when the sun is setting on the horizon and the moon is rising above the trees!

There’s so much to do here, whether you’re swimming in the shallow waters, reading a book at the beach bar, or taking a yoga class in the morning before you head out on one of the many adventures in Rishikesh. This is a place that anyone can visit and it has become a real spiritual place for me. I would recommend everyone come here, at least once in their life. This is what I call paradise!

Rishikesh  Beaches

You’ll never see a more stunning beach than the one in Rishikesh. Called the ‘mecca of yoga’, Rishikesh is a top destination for nature lovers and people who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. What makes this beach so special is not only the clear water and white sand but the sense of calm and peace that you get when you sit on the shore.

Nothing can better relax you than the sounds of the water and the wind. The best time of the year to visit Rishikesh is from March to June when the weather is pleasant and temperatures are at an average of 25 degrees Celsius.

How & where to experience it?

Vashisth Gufa Beach

Vashisth Gufa offers white Sand Beach in Rishikesh, an incredibly unique place near Rishikesh that will help you feel a strong connection with the spiritual world. A short trek from the road will lead you to a cave that lies inside a temple. Meditating here can make you feel strong celestial energy. A shiva lingam is worshipped inside the cave, and right beside the temple is a path that leads to an expansive pebbled beach blanketed with white sands. The Arundhati Gufa also lies on this beach, making it a truly special place to visit.

Conclusion

I wanted to share with you my experience of the White Sand Beach in Rishikesh. I highly recommend you visit this place if you are ever in the area, it is one of the most peaceful places I have ever been. The white sand and clear blue waters are truly a sight to behold. I don’t know about you, but I really am looking forward to my next beachside adventure!
