A state-of-the-art Elephant Rescue Center

It is dedicated to the prolonged survival of endangered elephants. Equipped with advanced shelters, day and night enclosures, hydrotherapy pools, and even a large elephant jacuzzi for arthritis treatment, the center ensures the utmost care for its residents. With a 500-member-strong staff, including veterinarians, nutritionists, and pathologists, Vantara’s Elephant Hospital stands as one of the largest globally.

The hospital, towering at 25,000 meters, is fully equipped with advanced medical facilities, boasting portable X-ray and laser machines, a pharmacy center. The pathology lab, and even a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Prioritizing personalized care, the center offers Multani-mitti massages and hot oil therapy for elephants, administered by a team of seasoned Ayurveda experts. bounds.

Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Center

Vantara’s Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, overseen by a team of 2,100 staff members. It  provides sanctuary for over 200 leopards recuperating from accidents or threats of poaching. Additionally, the center has successfully rescued more than 1,000 crocodiles from overcrowded facilities in Tamil Nadu. In total, Vantara has rehabilitated over 2,000 animals spanning 43 different species, encompassing elephants, large felines, herbivores, and reptiles
