Discover all about the Taj Vivanta Ayodhya: Under Construction

When we think of Ayodhya, the first image that comes to mind is often one of spiritual significance and historical grandeur. This sacred city, steeped in mythology and history, is undergoing a transformation of epic proportions, thanks to the efforts of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Among the developments shaping Ayodhya’s future is the arrival of the prestigious Taj Hotels, India’s largest hospitality group. Taj’s parent company, Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), has recently announced plans to establish Taj Vivanta Ayodhya, adding to the city’s allure as a mega pilgrim destination.

The Vision for Ayodhya

As Ayodhya prepares to welcome a magnificent Shri Ram Temple by January of next year, the city is also gearing up to unveil the Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport, set to be ready by June 2024.

Taj’s Grand Entrance

Taj Vivanta Ayodhya is set to make its mark on Ayodhya with the signing of two remarkable properties, heralding a new era of luxury and comfort for pilgrims and tourists alike. The first is a 100-room upscale Taj Vivanta Ayodhya, offering guests a taste of opulence and sophistication.

The second is a 120-room lean luxury Ginger hotel Ayodhya, catering to those seeking a more budget-friendly option without compromising on quality.

A Glimpse of the Future

These two hotels will be nestled on a sprawling five-acre complex near the soon-to-be-completed airport, ensuring easy access for travelers. This strategic move aligns with IHCL’s vision to strengthen its presence in spiritual centers across India, with Ayodhya taking center stage.

The city’s importance as a pilgrimage site is undeniable, drawing a continuous stream of visitors throughout the year. With these new hotels, Ayodhya will join the travel circuit, which includes the neighboring cities of Lucknow and Varanasi, forming an enticing trio of destinations in Uttar Pradesh.

A Bright Future Beckons

IHCL is collaborating with Bhardwaj Global Infraventures for these exciting developments, making Taj Vivanta Ayodhya and Ginger hotels the first branded accommodations in Ayodhya. The group’s CEO, Puneet Chhatwal, expressed their keen interest in multiple properties in Ayodhya, a sentiment that is now becoming a reality.

A Promising Pilgrimage Circuit

The tourism industry is investing heavily in the growing popularity of pilgrimage destinations. Sacred places are changing and drawing large numbers of visitors.

Recent reports show that more tourists are going to Varanasi compared to before the Covid pandemic, and this trend is expected to happen in Ayodhya too when the Shri Ram Temple opens, and the city gets its international airport.

In conclusion,

Ayodhya’s transformation into a pilgrimage and tourism hub is in full swing, with Taj Vivanta Ayodhya and Ginger hotels set to offer unparalleled luxury and convenience. As history and spirituality converge in this sacred city, the promise of a vibrant future is palpable.
