Discover Saryu Valley in Uttarakhand’s Himalayas, India

As I stepped into the embrace of the Saryu Valley in Uttarakhand. I found myself engulfed in a world where the boundaries between civilization and wilderness blurred seamlessly.

Saryu Valley

It lies in a remote corner of Kumaon. The picturesque Sarayu Valley in Uttarakhand offers breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayan peaks. The valley runs along with a rushing river, lush alpine meadows, and untouched forests.

During this journey, you’ll have the chance to stay in a charming homestay within a quaint village for a couple of nights, immersing yourself in the renowned Kumaoni hospitality and observing local culture up close.

Exploring Surroundings

Before reaching Jaikuni, a high-altitude meadow boasting unparalleled vistas of the Himalayas, we’ll undertake a couple of walks in the vicinity. From Jaikuni, the peaks of Nandakot, Mrigthuni, Maiktoli, Trishul, and others appear almost within arm’s reach, offering a truly awe-inspiring sight.

As we make our way back, we’ll descend to the beautiful Dhakuri campsite before continuing our journey. En route to Sarayu and on the return journey, we’ll pause at several scenic spots near Binsar and Kausani, adding even more beauty to our unforgettable adventure.
