Discover Ram Lalla Statue in Ayodhya: To Be Installed Near Saryu River

Narender Kumawat, a famous sculptor hailing from Haryana, has been entrusted with the task of crafting this monumental statue. With an artistic vision that transcends borders, Kumawat envisions the statue as a symbol of Swadeshi craftsmanship, representing not only Lord Rama’s grandeur but also the artistic prowess of India.

The Monumental Feat:

It will stand at an impressive height of 823 feet, the Ram Lalla statue is ready to surpass the current record held by Sardar Patel’s 790-foot statue in Kevadia, Gujarat. This colossal masterpiece, weighing a monumental 13,000 tons, promises to redefine monumental sculptures globally, capturing the attention and admiration of visitors from around the world.

A Global Collaboration:

Approximately 70-80% of the Ram Lalla statue’s creation occurred in China. Despite this, the statue aims to become a symbol of Swadeshi craftsmanship, subject to final budget approval. If funded, it would claim the title of the world’s tallest statue entirely crafted within India.  It is showcasing the nation’s ability to undertake and complete such monumental projects.

Crafted from ‘Panch Dhatu’:

It is from a combination of five sacred metals (‘Panch Dhatu’), including a prototype approved by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The sculpture is to cost around Rs 3,000 Crore to complete. Until the budgetary approval is secured, a 10-foot prototype offers a sneak peek into the monumental masterpiece in the making.
