Panch Kedar Story
As epic beliefs go, the ancient Hindu scriptures tell us that during one of the ages stated in the Mahabharata, penance was practiced religiously. As part of that tradition, it is believed that the Pandava Princes worshipped Lord Shiva while they were living year-round in Uttarakhand. It is said that this was because legend states Lord Shiv was hiding from their family by assuming a buffalo form – but Bhima recognized him anyway and broke his silence!
