Mount Kailash is approximately 60 kilometers from the newly discovered Kailash viewpoint Uttarakhand. It will  make easy accessible for pilgrims. To reach this sacred spot, one must traverse the Old Lipulekh Pass. It is located just about four kilometers from the China border. Earlier, this journey was fraught with complexities and required transportation provided by China, but now, devotees can undertake this sacred pilgrimage from Indian territory.

The Role of Border Roads Organisation (BRO):

The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has been tirelessly working to ensure that this pilgrimage route becomes a reality. Lipulekh Pass is on the India-China border is currently under construction. The road starts from KMVN Huts in Nabhidhang to Lipulekh Pass.  It is expected to be completed by September. This initiative is a testament to the Indian government’s dedication to providing a safer and more accessible path to Mount Kailash in Uttarakhand.

The Hirak Project:

The Indian government has entrusted the Hirak Project with the responsibility of developing the Mount Kailash View Point in Uttarakhand. The road-cutting work is almost  complete.
