Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek Uttarakhand: A Must-Do Trek

At Dayara Bugyal, the meadows look like a beautiful garden with soft grass, pretty flowers, and neat trees. It’s very high up, over 10,000 feet, and you can see the big, snowy mountains like Gangotri, Bandarpunch, and Srikanth all around you. It’s a great place for new hikers because the views are amazing, and it’s not too hard to walk there.

In the winter, the meadow is full of colorful flowers like blue poppies and daisies. Surrounding the meadow are oak and rhododendron trees, making the place even prettier. You can also see many birds, including the special Himalayan Monal, which is the state bird of Uttarakhand.

Quick Itinerary for Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek

Day 1: Dehradun to Natin Village
  • Altitude: 2,250 m (7,500 ft)
  • Distance: 200 km
  • Duration: 7-8 hours

Today, we travel from Dehradun to Natin Village. It’s a long drive through the mountains, and we’ll see lots of beautiful scenery along the way!

Day 2: Natin to Gui Village

  • Altitude: 2,900 m (9,500 ft)
  • Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek Distance: 4-5 km
  • Duration: 4-5 hours

We start our trek today! We’ll walk from Natin Village to Gui. It will be an exciting adventure as we climb higher into the mountains.

Day 3: Gui to Chilapada
  • Altitude: 3,000 m (9,800 ft)
  • Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek Distance: 3 km
  • Duration: 2 hours

Today’s hike is a bit shorter. We’ll trek from Gui to Chilapada. The air is fresher, and the views are even better!

Day 4: Chilapada to Dayara Top and Trek to Nayata
  • Altitude (Dayara Top): 3,700 m (12,100 ft)
  • Altitude (Nayata): 2,800 m (9,200 ft)
  • Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek  Distance: Chilapada to Dayara Top: 5 km (5-6 hours), Dayara Top to Nayata: 6 km (3-4 hours)

This is our big adventure day! We’ll hike up to Dayara Top for amazing views. After enjoying the scenery, we’ll trek down to Nayata.

Day 5: Nayata to Natin Village
  • Altitude: 2,250 m (7,500 ft)
  • Distance: 5 km
  • Duration: 3 hours

We head back to Natin Village today. It’s a gentle trek down, and we can enjoy the last bits of mountain magic.

Day 6: Natin to Dehradun City
  • Drive Distance: 200 km
  • Duration: 7 hours

After morning tea, we say goodbye to Natin Village and drive back to Dehradun after Dayara Bugyal Winter Trek. It’s been an amazing journey!
