Bajrang Setu Rishikesh: New Glass Bridge, Opening soon in 2025!

Rishikesh is all set to welcome a new iconic landmark in 2025—the Bajrang Setu Rishikesh, popularly called the New Laxman Jhula or Glass Bridge of Rishikesh. This modern engineering marvel is being constructed right next to the historic 90-year-old Laxman Jhula in the Tapovan–Sai Ghat area, and once completed, it will redefine how people experience the holy Ganga.

What is Bajrang Setu Rishikesh?

Bajrang Setu is a cable suspension bridge with glass flooring, designed for both pedestrians and light vehicles. It will be India’s first glass cable suspension bridge and North India’s first glass footpath bridge, making it a major attraction in Uttarakhand tourism.

Just like Ram Jhula and Janaki Setu, Bajrang Setu will serve as a vital crossing over the Ganga—but with a futuristic twist.
