Brahmakamal

Brahmakamal in full bloom at Devikund (Sunder Dunga Valley) near Anandeshwari Temple at Devikund.  The Devikund area in the Himalayan region is famous for its abundant Brahmakamal flowers. These days in July, Brahmakamal is in full bloom, enhancing the beauty of Devikund.

The Brahmakamal blooms only in the Himalayan region, is considered a very dear flower to the goddess. Devotees bring Brahmakamal from Devikund for worshiping Maa Nanda Devi.

Devikund Mandir 

In Devikund of the Sunderdhunga Valley, inspired by Balayogi Chaitanya Akash, the construction of the Anandeshwari Durga Temple has commenced following Ganesh Puja and Havan ceremonies. Devikund is one of the High-Altitude lakes of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.

Anandeshwari Durga Temple in Sunderdhunga Valley sits  at an altitude of 15,000 feet. It is now a major attraction in the in Sunderdhunga Valley.

For many years, Balayogi Chaitanya Akash has been meditating in the Himalayan region of Sunderdhunga Valley.

Temple Construction

The construction of the Anandeshwari Durga Temple at Devikund in the Sunder Dunga Valley of the Himalayan region has been completed under the inspiration of Balayogi Swami Chaitanya Akash Ji Maharaj. The temple’s foundation was laid on June 23.

Despite continuous rain, Swami Chaitanya Akash Ji and his followers remained enthusiastic. Wood and other materials for the temple construction were transported from several kilometers away. The grand temple has been built near Devikund, and its reflection in Devikund is astonishing.

Pindari Valley:

The trek begins on the lesser-known west ridge of Pindari Valley, offering breathtaking views of some of the most stunning Himalayan peaks, including: Mt. Maiktoli, Mt. Changuch, Mt. Nanda Kot, Mt. Panwali Dwar, Mt. Lamchir.

The journey continues with an up-close encounter with the Pindari Glacier, descending into the valley and following the River Pindar to its source.
