By Train:
The nearest railway station to Almora is Kathgodam, about 82 km away. Kathgodam railway station connects all major cities in India such as Delhi, Kolkata, and Lucknow. Trains to Kathgodam are frequent, and from there, you can easily hire a taxi or catch a bus to Almora.
By Air:
The closest airport to Almora is Pantnagar Civil Aerodrome, located 116 km away. From Pantnagar, you can book a direct taxi to Almora. Alternatively, for a more budget-friendly option, you can take a bus from Haldwani, Kathgodam, or Nainital to reach Almora city.
