Secret of Kasar Devi Uttarakhand: Why you must visit this temple of Almora?

The Kasar Devi Temple in Almora, Uttarakhand, is believed to possess a unique magnetic field. The entire area around the temple lies within the Van Allen Belt, where a massive geomagnetic field exists beneath the Earth’s surface. This field contains layers of electrically charged particles, also referred to as radiation.

Recognized as a Shakti Peeth, the Kasar Devi Temple area also reveals remnants from the Stone Age. Due to the extraordinary sense of mental peace experienced here, many tourists from India and abroad visit this place.

The Kasar Devi Uttarakhand temple complex is marked as a GPS point 8 location, a site identified by NASA, known for its powerful magnetic energy.

Where Does So Much Energy Come From?

It is said that the Kasar Devi Temple is located on the Van Allen Belt. In fact, the Van Allen Radiation Belt is a region of energetic charged particles, which mostly come from solar winds.

These particles are captured by the Earth’s magnetic field and are retained around the planet. This belt surrounds the entire Earth and prevents high-speed and highly energetic electrons from reaching the planet’s surface.

Its outer layer is formed by high-energy particles emitted by the Sun, which get trapped within the Earth’s gravitational field. This phenomenon is known as the magnetosphere.

The Van Allen Radiation Belt was discovered in 1958 by American scientist James A. Van Allen. It is this geomagnetic activity that gives the region its high cosmic energy.

Interestingly, Machu Picchu in Peru and Stonehenge in the United Kingdom are also located on the Van Allen Belt, and both places possess magnetic energy similar to that of the Kasar Devi Temple.

First, Let’s Talk About the Location

Speaking of the location of the Kasar Devi Temple, it is situated at a distance of just 8 km from Almora city. Nestled in the picturesque valleys of Uttarakhand, this temple is very famous, attracting devotees from across the country and the world.

Specialty of the Temple

The entire area around the Kasar Devi Uttarakhand lies within the Van Allen Belt, where there exists a massive geomagnetic field inside the earth. This field contains a layer of electrically charged particles, which can also be referred to as radiation.

For the past three years, NASA scientists have been engaged in understanding the reasons behind the formation of this belt. Through scientific studies, they are trying to find out what effect this magnetic field has on the human brain and nature.

In the studies conducted so far, it has been found that the Kasar Devi Temple in Almora, Machu Picchu in Peru (South America), and Stonehenge in England share similar characteristics.

 Similarities  These Three Sacred Sites

There are three tourist sites in the world that are also being researched by scientists. These include Machu Picchu in Peru (South America), Stonehenge in England, and the Kasar Devi Shakti Peeth in Almora (India).

Thousands of years ago, civilizations flourished around all three of these sacred places. NASA scientists have conducted research on the causes and effects of the magnetic charge found at these three locations.

Temple Architecture

The temple has been constructed according to the design of present-day temples. Located amidst dense forests, the temple has been renovated from time to time.

As it is situated inside a cave, a large number of devotees visit here. Hem Chandra Joshi, the priest of Kasar Devi, mentioned that special worship and rituals are performed during Navratri. People from far and wide come to this sacred place.
