Abbott Mount Haunted Story

It is a picturesque hill station in Uttarakhand, is believed to have been discovered and named after Englishman John Herald Abbott. He constructed Abbey Mansion here, and later, in 1942, a church was built in memory of his wife, now known as the Haunted Abbott Mount Church.

After John’s death in 1945, Abbey Mansion was converted into a charitable hospital. The hospital became infamous when Dr. Morris joined. Known for his unconventional medical experiments, he claimed to predict the exact day of his patients’ deaths. Allegedly, those predicted to die were sent to Mukti Kothi, a separate building.

Rumors spread that patients without close family members were more likely to be victims of Dr. Morris’ sinister actions. Over time, stories of spirits, including Dr. Morris and his deceased patients, circulated. Whispers and eerie calls were reported, creating an aura of mystery and fear around the place.
