Five Major Tourist Places of Rishikesh

Triveni Ghat

Janaki Setu

In 1961, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi established an ashram in Rishikesh for the teaching of yoga and meditation. In the 1960s, the famous Beatles band arrived at this ashram in search of meditation, and since then, this place became famous as the Beatles Ashram. Members of the Beatles band had come and stayed in this ashram.
