From the Railway Station:
- If you’re traveling by train, Rishikesh is the closest railhead. From the Rishikesh ISBT or taxi stand, you can catch buses or jeeps to Rudraprayag, Gopeshwar, or Ukhimath. From Ukhimath, jeeps are available to Ransi Uttarakhand.
By Bus:
- You can also take a bus from Delhi to Dehradun. Buses run frequently from Kashmiri Gate ISBT, including Volvo options. You can book online at UTC’s official website. From Dehradun, buses to Ukhimath are available from Rishikesh ISBT, though shared jeeps are usually a more comfortable option, especially if you’re trekking the next day.
