Pilgrims who are unable to make the trek to the temple can still get the darshan Shiva by taking a helicopter from Phata. The journey from Phata to Kedarnath Dham will only take 10 minutes in a chopper.

Pawan Hans, Pinnacle Air, and other aerial transport services provide 5-7 seater charter helicopters to those wishing to visit Shri Kedarnath Ji. To make things more convenient for customers, tickets can be booked online in advance. Additionally, there are helicopter facilities available from Augustmuni, however, flying from Phata reduces the travel time by 20 minutes.

   • Gaurikund, a significant point for those embarking on the Kedarnath trek, is just 22 km away from Phata. You can easily find transportation options to Gaurikund from Phata.

   • Dehradun Railway Station is approximately 234 km away from Phata, while Rishikesh Railway Station is around 194 km away. These stations serve as convenient entry points for those traveling by train.
3. By Air:
   • The nearest airport to Phata is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, located about 211 km away.
