The 9.7 km long cable car project establishes an aerial link from Gaurikund to Kedarnath . The  project is nestled in the enchanting Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It shatters the barriers of time and distance, reducing the arduous 6-7 hour journey between these two destinations to a mere 30 minutes.

The completion date for the Kedarnath Cable Car project remains undisclosed as there is no official announcement of kedarnath ropeway status,  available at this time. Ropeway in Kedarnath starts date is not yet declared by the Government

The wildlife board has given the go-ahead for the project. In this project, a piece of forest land measuring 26.43 hectares will be given to the state government. The project got approval from the State Wildlife Board. Now  sent to the NBWL, which is the top authority for giving the green light to projects in wildlife areas.

Conclusion

It will be a great new attraction that many people will be using to travel between two temples in the area. With the Pony or Palki, generally people, at normal pace,  would have to trek for 6 -7  hours to go from  Gaurikund to Kedarnath Temple, but in a few years, it will be able to go in just an hour.
