The 9.7 km long cable car project establishes an aerial link from Gaurikund to Kedarnath . The  project is nestled in the enchanting Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It will be a great new attraction that many people will be using to travel between two temples in the area. With the Pony or Palki, generally people, at normal pace,  would have to trek for 6 -7  hours to go from  Gaurikund to Kedarnath Temple, but in a few years, it will be able to go in just an hour.
