Neelkanth Mahadev Temple

This sacred temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, also known as Nilkanth, the Blue-Throated One. It is said that this is where Shiva drank the deadly poison, Halahala, to save the world during the churning of the ocean (Samudramanthan).
