  2. Jungle Chatti – First Stop: Trekking  approximately 4 km from Gaurikund to reach Jungle Chatti, where you’ll have stunning views. Take breaks as needed and soak in the breathtaking surroundings.
  3. Bheembali – Second Stop: After a 3 km trek from Jungle Chatti, you’ll arrive at Bheembali. Here, you can rest and revel in the snow-peaked mountains and temple walls. Accommodations are available for those who wish to stay overnight.
  4. Linchauli – Third Stop: A 4 km trek from Bheembali brings you to Linchauli. Take in the majestic mountain vistas and consider spending the night here. Alternatively, take a moment to rest before continuing your journey.
  5. Kedarnath Base Camp – Fourth Stop: As you trek from Linchauli, you’ll encounter numerous camps amidst the stunning mountains. Pause to admire the panoramic views, and remember, you’re just 4 km away from the base camp.
  6. Kedarnath Temple – The Final Destination: The last 1 km of the trek takes you to Kedarnath Temple. Be cautious as you traverse the snowy terrain. Once you reach the temple, prepare to be awe-struck by the breathtaking sight.

Gaurikund to Kedarnath Trekking

The best time for the Kedarnath trek is during the summer months, from April to June, when the temperatures are milder, making trekking conditions ideal. Winter is not recommended due to heavy snowfall. The winter can pose obstacles during the journey. Monsoon months are not good due to the risk of heavy rains, landslides, and floods.
