Jim Corbett National Park: A Fun Adventure!

Established in 1936, Jim Corbett National Park is India’s first national park! It’s named after the famous naturalist and conservationist Jim Corbett. Located at the foothills of the Himalayas near the beautiful hill station of Nainital, this park is super famous for being home to a lot of tigers—the most in any Indian national park!

The park covers a huge area of 1318.54 square kilometers. Out of this, 520 square kilometers is the main area, and the rest is a buffer zone. It spreads across the gorgeous landscapes of Pauri Garhwal, Almora, and Nainital.

One of the best ways to explore the park is by taking a jeep safari! This exciting ride takes you through the dense forest where you can see wild animals in their natural homes. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a tiger! During your safari, you can enjoy the lush green forest, beautiful streams, rivers, and maybe even some waterfalls!
