My Experience

I visit frequently  Bhootnath Temple in Rishikesh because  of it is beautiful natural settings . I  prefer always to visit during sunset from my home Tapovan because I think this temple top is the best place to watch sunset in Rishikesh.

At the hill’s base, I take the temple steps to climb at the top, but steps are steep so for old age or physically unable person will be difficult. But there is road ( slope way ) to reach temple too and easy and less strenuous to reach temple

Once you reach there you can hear birds sing in the fresh air. I hear always  the sound of the Ganga river from the top in the morning when town is sleeping  and colorful flags flutter in the wind.

When you reach the top,  you see the main shrine of Shiva . If you step inside and the priest perform a prayer for you quietly. and the gentle breeze makes you feel calm during prayer.

From the temple top, You look at Swargashram area below. The Ganges river shines in the sunlight. In the evening, you can watch the sunset view and the sky changes color.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Bhootnath Temple is a must-visit place for anyone visiting Rishikesh, whether for spiritual purposes or just to experience the rich history and culture of the city. The temple’s stunning architecture, serene surroundings, and rich history make it a truly unique and special place to visit.
