Wedding Registration Fee Only 1100 Rupees

Secretary of the Pilgrim Priest Committee, Triyuginarayan, Sarveshwar Bhatt, said that in the year 2023, so far 55 registrations have been done for marriages. All marriages are to be completed by March. Advance booking is ongoing for the future. For the marriage, the committee does not charge any fee other than 1100 rupees registration.

This fee is used to arrange the wedding mandap. The stay and food arrangements have to be made by the bride and groom’s families themselves. The food is entirely vegetarian.

On the request of the bride and groom’s side, hill food arrangements are also made by the temple committee. It is informed that as documents, only a certified copy of the Aadhaar card is taken.

The devotees visiting the temple bring wood to keep this sacred flame alive, and they receive the ashes from it as prasad (holy offering).

According to local beliefs, it is said that accepting the ashes as prasad bestows the blessings of love and devotion. Because of this eternal fire, the temple is also known as the Akhanda Dhuni Temple.
