Located about 25 kilometers from Swargashram in Rishikesh, this temple is highly revered. Temple priest Jagdish Prapannacharya explains that during the churning of the ocean, Lord Shiva contained and drank the poison (Kalakuta) that emerged from the ocean churning in his palm.
