The journey begins in Rishikesh and goes through Harshil, a cozy village. This village is special because it mixes Hindu and Buddhist cultures. You can explore this blend by visiting their temples and learning about their traditions. Harshil is also home to an old Buddhist community. Rishikesh – Harshil (250 Km / 7 hr)

In the morning, after breakfast in the hotel, drive in a private car for the Harshil Town which is about 30 km before form Gangotri & 250 km from Rishikesh, after arrival check in hotel, later in the evening explore Harshil Village, dinner & overnight.
Harshil is very famous for its natural & scenic beauty & apple orchard. In Harshil there is a village, known as Bagori, where Himalayan ethnic people, locally called Bhutiya are living in the village.
There is a wooden Buddhist temple, architecturally very rich, many foreign tourists travel to this village only to see this Himalayan Buddha Temple. Apart from the Buddhist Temple, at a few distances, there is the winter seat of mother Ganges, which is known as Mukhba & Cholmi, where there are two important temples of Shiva, Kalp Kedar & Panchmukhi Mahadev Temple.

Day 02 : Harshi – Gangotri – Bhojwassa
4.00 AM to 05.00 PM
Start your day with an early morning breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Gangotri (3048 Mts/10000 Ft) which is about 30 km away and takes about an hour. Once there, visit the Gangotri Temple before beginning your trek to Bhojwassa via Chirbasa (3792mt).
It’s a 13 km trek that takes 6-7 hours, and you will be walking along the Bhagirathi River, which is both scenic and peaceful. The trek route beyond Chirbasa is remote and without vegetation, giving it the feel of an Arctic Tundra. You will continue trekking up to Bhojwasa through the thick forest and check-in at the GMVN guest house upon arrival. Finally, enjoy dinner and call it a day.

Day 03 : Bhojwassa – Gaumukh -Bhojwasa

After breakfast at Bhojwassa, trek sets out to Gomukh (3890mt), the origin of the mother Ganges River, discover the area of Gomukh, and trek back to Bhojwasa. Dinner and lights off enjoy the GMVN stay at Bhojwasa.
The trek from Bhojwasa to Gaumukh is difficult because of steep climbing but as you go higher the view gets clearer.

Day 04 : Bhojwassa – Gangotri

Today’s itinerary involves a trek from Gangotri back that will take approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive, you’ll have some free time to explore the picturesque surroundings of the Pandava Gufa and take a leisurely stroll through the scenic pathways.
After a hearty dinner, it’ll be time to call it a night and retire to either the camp or GMVN guest house. Rest assured, you’ll have a peaceful and restful night’s sleep.

Day 05 : Gangotri – Uttarakashi
10.00 AM to 10.00 PM
Start early in the morning from Gangotri and drive towards Uttarakashi, a picturesque town situated at a distance of around 100 km from Gangotri. Enroute, you can stop at the Gangnani hot water springs for a refreshing dip.
In the afternoon, take a walk around the village and visit the ancient Mukhba temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight in Uttarakashi.

Day 06 : Uttarakashi– Rishikesh (165 km/ 6 hr)

Start your day with a delicious breakfast in Uttarkashi. After breakfast, head to the Vishwanath Temple, one of the most famous temples in Uttarkashi dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple has a significant religious and cultural significance and is frequented by devotees from all over India & some Ashrams.
Later in the day, check out of your hotel and drive towards Rishikesh, which is located at a distance of around 165 km from Uttarkashi.Upon arrival in Rishikesh, your tour comes to an end.
