It is situated amidst the lush green mountain just 80 km from Rishikesh. It is land of meditation and austerities, many famous sages and seers, such as Sage Mrikund, Sage Markandeya, Sage Kashyapa, and Sage Kanva, while Sage Durvasa wandered through this area.

Day 1 – Rishikesh to Mahabgarh

Begin your journey pickup from Rishikesh, once you finished breakfast and meet driver and move up through the beautiful Garhwal countryside, passing charming villages and mountain roads on the way to Mahabgarh area.
The route of Mahabgarh goes through Pauri Garhwal Himalayas, some stretch along the Ganges and Huel rivers and than remote part of the Himalayas, on the way, you see dotted villages and rustic and raw life of the Himalayan people.
