Aarti, the prayer ceremony of the Ganges river which takes place every day on the bank of the Ganges river at three Ghats of Rishikesh, Triveni Ghat<\/strong><\/a>, * Parmarth Niketan Ghat<\/strong> and Shatrughan Ghat at Ram Jhula.<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 It is performed on a stage by a group of young Hindu priests. Chanting of hymns and blowing of the conch shell marks the start of the Aarti after that priests do this ceremony with incenses, flowers, and fire. More or less 1000 pilgrims gather there to see the Aarti. The Aarti starts during dusk\u00a0 around 5:30 pm<\/strong> in the winter season\u00a0 and 6:30 pm<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0summer<\/strong> season and is a\u00a0forty-five-minute<\/strong>\u00a0long soulful ritual.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
