However, destiny led him to this valley located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.<\/p>\n

Dharali<\/strong> – The hamlet of Dharali has located 6 km from the Harsil valley. The village is well-connected to Harsil by road and sits at a height of 648 m above sea level. Dharali falls in the Rajgarhi tehsil.<\/p>\n

Mukhwas Village<\/strong> is located in the Himalayan mountains and is known for being the home of the Hindu goddess Gangotri. The village is a popular destination for devotees from all over the state and country, who make a visit here every year. However, during monsoons, the area experiences heavy snowfall which can make it difficult to reach the village – so it’s best to plan your trip for another time of year!<\/p>\n

Sat Tal<\/strong> is a cluster of seven small natural lakes located near Dharali. The 3 km long trek from Dharali to Sat Tal is an unforgettable journey. Some of the lakes have dried up due to deforestation and changing weather conditions.<\/p>\n
