Uttarakhand is planning to build new cities in the mountains. This is to stop people from moving away and to help the economy grow. The first new city will be in Bilkedar ( Bilwakedar<\/strong> ). Officials are working quickly to choose the best location. The goal is to build modern places that still keep the culture and nature of the hills.<\/p>\n

To stop people from leaving mountain villages and help the economy, the Uttarakhand government is planning to build new cities in the hilly areas. The first new city will be in Bilkedar ( Bilwakedar<\/strong> ), which is in the Srinagar area of Pauri district.<\/p>\n

The group in charge of housing and urban development has been told to choose a consultant this month and create a plan for the city. The Housing Minister, Premchand Agarwal, said that the design for the new city will be decided soon to make sure the mountain areas are built in an organized way.<\/p>\n

Migration from villages is a big problem in Uttarakhand. Many people move to cities like Dehradun and Haldwani to find better jobs and facilities. Building new cities in the mountains aims to stop this by creating jobs, modern services, and better connections in rural areas.<\/p>\n

A law was changed to help with this plan. Minister Premchand Agarwal said new city areas are needed because the flat areas are getting too crowded. The first new city will be in Bilkedar ( Bilwakedar )r, Srinagar, because it’s a good spot. They are also looking for land for new cities in the Kumaon area.<\/p>\n

Minister Agarwal said that New Tehri is the only planned city in the hills so far. The goal is to build organized city areas that have better living conditions, bring in money, and help the local businesses.<\/p>\n

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami supported the plan and said that active citizens are important for good governance. He talked to residents online and said that quick response teams are being sent to Pauri district to help people. The CM Dashboard and CM Helpline are also available for citizens to get help with problems.<\/p>\n

The Quick Solution Team in Pauri district will be started in other parts of Uttarakhand later. CM Dhami said the government is working to make infrastructure, governance, and public service better. He added that with help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand is moving towards becoming a developed nation.<\/p>\n

The government has promised to focus on local needs when planning the new cities. Many residents like the idea and hope that better facilities and job opportunities will help people stay in the hill areas.
