In the year <strong>2000<\/strong>, the government chose this area to move large groups of <strong>slum-dwellers<\/strong> from various parts of the city, giving them a place to live.<\/p>\n<p>Today, most people living in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Madanpur_Khadar_Village\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madanpur Khadar<\/a><\/strong> work as <strong>rag-pickers<\/strong>. As you enter, you&#8217;ll see <strong>mud and brick houses<\/strong> lined up along <strong>narrow streets<\/strong>, with markets selling <strong>second-hand goods<\/strong> and trash materials. A <strong>sewer line<\/strong> runs through the area, and the residents face challenges like <strong>unsafe drinking water<\/strong> and <strong>sanitation issues<\/strong>.
