When heavy snowfall makes Kedarnath, Madmaheshwar, and Rudranath inaccessible in winter, the Utsav (ceremonial) idols<\/strong> of these temples are shifted to Ukhimath and nearby Gopeshwar so that daily worship continues uninterrupted.<\/p>\n
