During the off-season, arranging shared taxis required patience\u2014but the <strong data-start=\"3569\" data-end=\"3632\">silence and purity of YSS Ashram made everything worthwhile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3635\" data-end=\"3638\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3640\" data-end=\"3691\"><strong data-start=\"3643\" data-end=\"3691\">Babaji Cave near Ranikhet \u2013 The Sacred Visit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"3693\" data-end=\"3735\"><strong data-start=\"3697\" data-end=\"3735\">The Next Day: Journey to Kukuchina<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3736\" data-end=\"3810\">We traveled with <strong data-start=\"3753\" data-end=\"3777\">four other Kriyabans<\/strong>. The YSS Ashram kindly arranged:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3811\" data-end=\"3882\">\n<li data-start=\"3811\" data-end=\"3851\">\n<p data-start=\"3813\" data-end=\"3851\">A shared taxi to <strong data-start=\"3830\" data-end=\"3851\">Kukuchina village<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3852\" data-end=\"3882\">\n<p data-start=\"3854\" data-end=\"3882\">A basket of <strong data-start=\"3866\" data-end=\"3882\">packed lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3884\" data-end=\"3989\">The drive took about <strong data-start=\"3905\" data-end=\"3919\">50 minutes<\/strong>, though the constant honking on empty mountain roads felt unsettling.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3991\" data-end=\"3994\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3996\" data-end=\"4047\"><strong data-start=\"3999\" data-end=\"4047\">Trek from Kukuchina to Mahavatar Babaji Cave<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4049\" data-end=\"4169\">From Kukuchina, we began the <strong data-start=\"4078\" data-end=\"4103\">50-minute uphill walk<\/strong> to the cave. The trail is scenic, peaceful, and moderately steep.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4171\" data-end=\"4194\"><strong data-start=\"4175\" data-end=\"4194\">Babaji\u2019s Shrine<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4195\" data-end=\"4389\">Before reaching the cave, we encountered <strong data-start=\"4236\" data-end=\"4255\">Babaji\u2019s Shrine<\/strong>, built by the <strong data-start=\"4270\" data-end=\"4307\">Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF)<\/strong> at the site where Babaji once manifested a <strong data-start=\"4351\" data-end=\"4388\">golden palace for Lahiri Mahasaya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"4391\" data-end=\"4394\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"4396\" data-end=\"4433\"><strong data-start=\"4399\" data-end=\"4433\">Inside Mahavatar Babaji\u2019s Cave<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"4435\" data-end=\"4538\">Many devotees visit daily\u2014Kriya Yogis from various lineages, all connected through <strong data-start=\"4518\"
