This impressive sculpture not only adds to the temple&#8217;s grandeur but also symbolizes Jatayu&#8217;s bravery and sacrifice, capturing the essence of devotion and heroism from the epic.<\/p>\n<h3>Location: Jatayu in Ayodhya<\/h3>\n<p>Jatayu in Ayodhya A 3.5-tonne statue of the mythical bird Jatayu has been <strong>installed atop Kuber Tila in Ayodhya.<\/strong> It took three months to create, including two months of extensive research. Noted artist Ram Sutar sculpted the statue, which stands 20 feet tall and spans 8 feet in length and width.<\/p>\n<h3>Jatayu In Ram Mandir<\/h3>\n<p>In the Ramayana, Jatayu bird was killed by Ravana while trying to save Goddess Sita. The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ara%E1%B9%87ya-K%C4%81%E1%B9%87%E1%B8%8Da\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aranya Kanda<\/a> (The Forest Episode) of the Ramayana mentions that<strong> Jatayu bird is the &#8220;King of Vultures&#8221; (G\u1e5bdhrar\u0101ja),<\/strong> who heroically attempted to prevent Sita Mata&#8217;s abduction by the demon king Ravana. Anil Ram Sutar, the artist&#8217;s son, expressed his happiness, saying, &#8220;It is a matter of great happiness that it now finds a place in Ayodhya.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Kuber Tila Ayodhya<\/h3>\n<p>There is a Kuber Tila in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. This mound, about a hundred feet high, is made of soil and stones and features an old temple dedicated to Kameshwar Mahadev. The temple&#8217;s wall is reported to be about two and a half feet wide and 5 feet high. Along with the construction of the Ram temple, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has also renovated this temple.<\/p>\n<p>It is believed that Kuber ji visited this place and established a Shivling on the Tila. <strong>Subsequently, idols of nine deities, including Shri Ganesh, Mata Parvati, Kartikeya, Nandi, and Kuber, were installed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>History<\/h3>\n<p>The history of Kuber Tila is ancient. It is said that this mound existed even before the birth of Lord Rama and is mentioned in the epics of Ayodhya.
