Maya Devi Temple Haridwar: by Adi Shankaracharya

Architecture

Timing

The temple is open to visitors all year round, but the best time to visit is during the Navratri festival, which is celebrated twice a year in honor of the goddess Shakti. The temple is located in the heart of the city and can be easily reached by public transport.

The temple complex also houses several other smaller temples dedicated to various deities, including Lord Shiva, Lord Rama, and Lord Hanuman. There is also a sacred pool within the complex, which is said to have healing properties and is believed to be the site where Lord Vishnu took a bath during his incarnation as Lord Krishna.
