2 Days Trek around Rishikesh- Chopta Trek
The Chopta Trek is among the most popular and fascinating mid-high-intensity treks on the Himalayan mountain range. Far from the town life of Rishikesh, the Chopta Valley is surrounded by an imposing forest of oaks, deodar, and rhododendrons that shade a lush and verdant valley. Following a beautiful itinerary of about 30 km in 4-6 days, it is possible to enjoy an incredible view of the highest Himalayan peaks. The path winds through beautiful meadows and trails that are easy to follow but challenging for the altitude (here you reach 4000 meters). When you reach the summit you can admire Nanda Devi – 7.817meters, the Trishul – 7.120 meters, Kedarnath – 6.831 meters, Bandarpunch -6.316 meters and Chaukhamba – 7.138 meters from a privileged position. Calculate that in winter the cold can be really limiting, so if you are not well equipped and very resistant it is better to opt for trekking at lower altitudes. contact for more information
Kuari Pass Trek
The another beautiful, challenging but incredibly scenic route is the Kuari Pass Trek, the trek that offers the best view of the beautiful summit of Nanda Devi – 7.817meters. The route usually lasts 4 days (about 30 km) and is suitable for walkers of the medium-high level and the maximum altitude reached nearly 4000meters. Slightly less demanding than the previous trek, this path is more difficult to follow independently, so better to rely on a specialized guide or a good map if you are an expert.
