The Tigre Reserve protects such as the Royal Bengal Tiger and Leopard. The lesser-carnivores like the Jackal, Hyena, Jungle Cat, Leopard Cat, Civets, Himalayan Yellow-Throated Marten Himalayan Black and Sloth Bears. Today, there are 30 tigers and around 285 leopards. The primates including the Rhesus Macaque and the Hanuman Languor. The Indian Hare and the Indian Porcupine is one of the small mammals that you see in the Reserve.
The Himalayan birds, such as Oriental Pied Hornbill, Crested Kingfisher and Crimson Sunbird are permanently living in the Reserve. And, most of the birds migrate during winter seasons. The plenty of nature's reward piled-up in and around the reserve.
Detailed ItineraryDay 1: Rajaji Tiger Reserve- Arrival at Rajaji Tiger Reserve. Proceed to board on gypsy and take your journey inside Rajaji Tigre Reserve via Chilla / Gohari Range. Reach your Rajaji Forest Rest house passing through the densely forested grassyland ecosystem living by an ample range of wildlife. Lunch at Rest House. In the afternoon you will go for a Jungle jeep safari in Rajaji Tiger Reserve. Dinner with a bonfire and overnight stay at the rest house.
Day 2: Depart - Rajaji Tiger Reserve- Early morning, before breakfast, you go for the bird-watching / hiking trip in the Jungle ( 3 hours). Return to the Resthouse for the morning breakfast then check-out and move out from the jungle via Chilla/ Gohari Range gate. Depart with mesmerizing memories of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve trip.
